The eight meeting for the National Initiative Group (NIG) of Georgia
The eight bi-annual meeting for the National Initiative Group (NIG) Georgia under the SCAC project was held on 25 December 2023 in the online format.
The Group members composed of academics, local NGOs and private sector representatives who are interested in the sustainable development of mountainous regions discussed the Draft Policy Brief, prepared by the Sustainable Caucasus Network members on waste management in the mountainous regions of Georgia.
The participants reviewed the work carried out since the last meeting and outlined the future plans. The NIG Members also put forward various additional proposals for collaboration to strengthen advocacy, including identifying a potential topic for a new Policy Brief.
